About Mrs. Davis |
Hello! I am Mrs. Davis. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Science in Education with a specialization in Special Education. Prior to working with the school I worked at the Denton Public Library as a Children's Librarian Assistant for 4 years and the Abilene Public Library as a Library Page for 3 years. It was through my working at the library that I developed a love for learning and wanted to pursue this by working as a teacher. I was born and raised in Abilene, Texas where I attended Taylor Elementary School, Franklin Middle School, and Abilene High School. |
I have always done well in the areas of art, mathematics, and music, and struggled in the areas of English, Social Studies, and Science. I participated in mathletes in Middle School. I played flute, piccolo, baritone, tuba, and steel drums in high school, and went to State Solo and Ensemble performing on both my tuba and flute. I went to state in my art classes, and have shown my work at many galleries. I won grand champion rabbit in my high school FFA, went to state in dairy judging, and received my Lone Star Farmer degree.
I live with my wonderful husband and our two beautiful cats and two rats. In my free time, I enjoy video games, board games, tabletop role playing games, reading, and gardening. My husband is the Dungeon Master for our weekly Dungeons and Dragons sessions. My husband and I own 5 acres of land on which we raise goats and chickens and have a small garden. I enjoy crocheting and clay working in my free time.
